　　合�塘在安福县城寓居的郭氏,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]，是19世纪20年代从吉安的郭家店合�塘迁居而来，开基祖是花奎老大人，距今已有80多年历史，发展到四代百多人的大家族。编修这本《合�塘安福郭氏家谱》，其因是花奎老大人分开合�塘当前，合�塘虽屡次修谱，都未将安福郭氏列入其中。而花奎老大人落脚安福以后，虽一代代强盛，后人越来越多，而且散落全国各地，但不知其根是合�塘派生，对其祖宗了解甚少。再加上第一代已过逝，笫二代也年到花甲，都已退休，第三代又不懂得历史。所以，编修这本安福郭氏家谱，实属必要。其目标是让后人不忘从前,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]，不忘祖宗，家族团结，大小有分,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]；也不因后人散居何处，晓得其根来自何地；更能使郭氏后人铭刻家史，勤恳尽力，发挥光大。
　　《合�塘安福郭氏家谱》从清光绪三十年（公元1904年）开端，详录距今，共100多年历史，分郭氏出源、发迹沿革、祖先撑故、迁居记事、家族风俗、郭氏家乘、先辈轶事、郭氏家训，序、图、照片、后记等章目。全书近3万字200页,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]，用楷书仿古谱式样，打印装订成书。书内图文并茂，全书由菊生先生执笔，并邀请了先生多年的好友，省考古协会会员、省谱谍研讨会会员、县�物馆副馆长、安微含隐士刁山景先生作序，实是一本说家史，奠世糸，承传统的好教材。全书印数未几，仅作合�塘安福郭氏后人珍藏,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]，错误外传播,望后人收藏。

that almost alarmed him; it disappointed his ear's expectancy in the
matter of timbre and resonance. But he was not deaf, and that for the
moment sufficed.
