Now it's the turn of the Beats by Dr Dre Solo HD to show what they're made of.

An uncompromising listen

Quite apart from adorning the neck of every perspiring Premier League footballer seemingly by contractual obligation, the models we've reviewed have received verdicts of either ‘good' or ‘really very good indeed'.
This isn't enough to prevent the Solo HDs being an enjoyable and invigorating listen, but it does mean that they can't be considered a default choice.

The balance between attack and control is judged well, and the Beats offer all the bite and crunch the material demands.
